Mission & Vision
What drives everything we do.
Ohmoworld is an Edinburgh-based social enterprise that uses music and creative participation to improve wellbeing, reduce social isolation, build confidence and strengthen relationships across diverse communities. We believe music should be accessible to everyone, regardless of income, age, ethnicity, faith, disability or experience.
Through inclusive opportunities to sing, play instruments, share cultural traditions, learn new skills and build meaningful connections, we support people facing financial, cultural and social barriers, including older people, minority ethnic communities, migrants, low income families and emerging musicians. Alongside our community programmes, we also provide music education, live events and creative services.
Any surplus generated through these activities is reinvested in advancing our social mission and expanding access to music and creative opportunities, where this is consistent with Ohmoworld's governing documents and financial practice.

To make music and creative participation accessible to everyone — regardless of income, age, ethnicity, faith, disability or experience — improving wellbeing and strengthening communities across Edinburgh.
Accessible to Everyone
Open regardless of income, age, ethnicity, faith, disability or experience.
Real Community Impact
Reaching older people, migrants, minority ethnic communities and low income families.
A city where music and creative participation are open to everyone, and every community has a network of support behind it.
We measure our success not in numbers alone, but in the people who keep making music and building connections years later, and the communities that grow stronger because people showed up for each other.
